$700$700 Monitor - Computer Setup

Comments

That cable management, that SLI, the colour scheme...
Of course. Some of the build is 2+ years old and I'm just waiting for DDR4 before I update it.
Whoa... SLI 780ti. What res is your monitor?
Time to upgrade to some 1440p. SLI 78ti's are being kind of wasted on 1080p
Well it is 5760x1080. also he will definitely be able to run games at 60+ fps on highest settings for a while as well
Running good fps on 1080p Eyefinity actually isn't too hard. 780ti's holds potential to do a whole lot more than that.
I plan on upgrading to a 4K display later in the year, I'm just waiting to see if Dell's new $700 monitor is going to drop the price of their 24 inch IPS installment.
That monitor has a 30 Hz refresh rate, it would be really bad for gaming
Woops I understand your comment now
You went with a reasonable power supply! Most submissions have PSU's that are way over the top for their builds.
Damn. Do you know if your CPU is bottlenecking the Ti's?
In some games it does, but when it does the performance increase usually isn't necessary.
How did you make 50MP image?
Several of the photos in the album where photostiched together for the DoF that I wanted. Most were just resized down to a little more reasonable size before I uploaded them.
Nice. No teenage posters or vagina-repelling gaming gear all over the place!
I have read about people sanding the green paint off the logo of the Titan and leaving the remaining clear plastic for the white LED's to shine through. I'm still considering giving it a go but I've not seen anything about the 780 ti or if it's any different in design from the Titan.
I can imagine that looking absolutely brilliant.
Looks great. How are your temps? It seems like airflow could be an issue.
It is a bit, I really need to invest in some more fans/water cooling but I don't currently needs to OC my system any further. It's currently summer here in Aus so my temps are idling a little higher than normal at ~40C or so, 70C under full load.
That's not bad at all. I thought the PSU may have been too close. I was just curious, It's a beautiful machine.
One of the best setups I've seen here. Your computer is an absolute beast, and it's so neat.
Nice white cables, where'd you get them?
Corsair sell them as replacement cables for some of their modular PSUs
As op said, corsair sells them. its about 80-100 for a full set.
It's a nice build, I love the cable management inside the case, definitely a great view!
Most beautiful cable management I think I have ever seen. Wow.
Wow this is gorgeous. Great job!
I love that desk. Unfortunately it wouldn't fit with my decor :(
I've got a few questions, how do you like the case? I'm considering getting either the fractal design or the Corsair 750D, how's the quality and cable management with it? Also, how do your GPUs not sag down? My 7950s sag way down
I really like the case, I bought it a few months ago and I love it. The only downsides I can think of are airflow at the front can be a little slow and the dust filter on the bottom of the case can make lifting it to be a little awkward.
That's awesome, I think I'm meaning towards the corsair just because of the look, but damn does that fractal look good, the cable management is just fantastic. Awesome job my friend.
Its a great case, very customizable and open for getting your hands in. I'm currently using it in my most recent personal build, and let me tell you, the other day I was building another build for someone else with another case, and every other minute I was thinking how much easier that build would've been had the case just been the Fractal R4.
This is one of the best builds on here, love the simplicity and elegance with a mix of minimalism and practicality and performance. It may not be some crazy LED rig with projectors and movie posters everywhere but I give this a 10/10 OP
What desk is that? Very nice
I really think you should get the Evga 780 backplates, those are really awesome looking and it will make your Rig even more clean looking.
OMG. I literally have the exact same setup, except I have Samsung 27"ers instead of your brand. The case, the internals, the setup, even down to the subwoofer.
Dude, we have the same monitors(edit: wasn't same, I have u2412, which is very similar), same speakers AND same case...
Yup, each of the monitors works as a four way USB hub with two on the left side and two on the back.
